Boundless Theatre welcomes back Ashley in new immersive Eleanor Rigby Is Waiting
Ashley rejoins the anthology play ELEANOR RIGBY IS WAITING by award-winning author David James Parr. Engage all of your sense in an immersive theater experience and exclusively curated culinary sensation accompanied by a dynamite original soundtrack. As Hurricane Eleanor hits Manhattan, six quirky, lonely and hilariously cutting characters — played by a cast of powerhouse actors — huddle together at Medi Wine Bar in an atmospheric and interconnected portrait of love, lust, and longing in our modern times.
Come drink and dine with the unforgettable characters of Eleanor Rigby Is Waiting, and lose yourself in the acclaimed romantic comedy-drama by award-winning author David James Parr in the exotic setting of Medi Wine Bar in Hell's Kitchen.
The show runs for a limited engagement at Medi Wine Bar in Hell's Kitchen on the following Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm: March 7th, 14th, 28th, and April 4th and 11th.

Ashley joins a river, its mouths with STAGES Houston's SIN MUROS: A Latinx Theatre Fest
No strange place for Ashley, a South Texas border town is the setting for a river, its mouths written by Jesús I. Valles. Under the direction of Jasminne Mendez, this virtual play is presented as a virtual benefit for STAGES Houston as part of Sin Muros: A Latinx Theater Festival.
Struggling with severe depression, You return to your hometown in Texas, right by the river that raised You, right on the border with Mexico. It’s the summer of 2019 and the Rio Bravo keeps claiming migrants’ lives during their perilous crossings. However, the people in your hometown are much more interested in talking about “The Rio Grande mermaid,” a creature rumored to haunt the river, clawing its way out of the sand, out of the water, into the air, into your head, haunting the mouths of family, friends, and strangers. Something in the water calls to You. “Come,” the river says, “Come to me.”

Ashley stars in Basic Glitch Off-Broadway
THE GLITCH IS BACK! Ashley joins Stephanie Salazar-Amaro's BASIC GLITCH Off-Broadway as an Official Encore Selection of the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival. Having previously directed the original iteration of the show in 2019, Ashley now stars as Ramona, a woman dealing with infertility issues. Ramona seeks solutions from customer service in order to rectify her one big problem: the inability to have children. Customer service guru Magda and her intern Lino step in to help, but soon find that some problems are beyond the reach of traditional customer service.
The one-night-only encore performance will be presented at Theatre Row's Theatre Four on Friday, June 24th at 5pm. Tickets are on sale now. Be sure to read the feature on BroadwayWorld.

And each night they will have 1 chance to connect with an ever-changing kaleidoscope of different strangers, played by nine versatile powerhouse actors in an interconnected portrait of love, lust, loneliness and connection in our modern world.

The show launches in April & May 2022 with 4 special Boundless Tuesdays at The Duplex off-Broadway Theatre Cabaret space in Greenwich Village, NYC’s bohemian cradle of culture, art and entertainment. The National Women's Theatre Festival casts Ashley in Craigslisted by Sharai Bohannon
Ashley joins Sharai Bohannon's new play CRAIGSLISTED, presented as a virtual benefit for the National Women's Theatre Festival out of Raleigh, South Carolina. A down-on-her-luck college student turns to the Craigslist personals to make a living. Her interactions lead her to find out more about other people (and herself) than she ever wanted to know.

Ashley leads Shann Smith's BLACKOUT with Company of Fools
Ashley leads Shann Smith's new play BLACKOUT, presented as a virtual benefit for Company of Fools theatre company out of Brooklyn. The play follows Vega as superhero Cassie Robertson (AKA Blackout), who struggles to maintain control of her powers and process her grief a year after her mentor’s suicide.

Ashley returns to her Texas roots as curandera Melva Salinas in Josie Nericcio's new play EASTER SUNDAY AT THE JUAREZ FLORAL SHOP, presented as a virtual benefit for STAGES Houston as part of Sin Muros: A Borderless Teatro Festival. It’s Easter Sunday at the floral shop run by the Juarez sisters, Tencha and Anita. The shop is across the street from the city cemetery and sells only artificial flowers. Anita, the younger sister, is dying of cancer, but Tencha is holding out hope in the form of a curandera she has hired, without telling her sister. As Tencha waits for the curandera, Anita tries to prepare her sister for her death, something Tencha does not want to talk about, but the future is coming, no matter how hard Tencha tries to avoid it

Party Claw Productions presents Petunia's Playhouse Live!: Petunia's Big Day
Party Claw Productions has been chosen by the New Ohio Theatre to create a new TYA piece. The musical, entitled Petunia's Playhouse Live!: Petunia's Big Day is based off the digital series Petunia's Playhouse, which was created by Party Claw co-founder Laura Kay Clark during quarantine. The new musical will be presented over the 2021 holiday season, and focuses on mental health practices for children and adults alike. The production is now streaming online in a new on-demand platform.

Party Claw Productions celebrated a successful run of Crystal Skillman's OPEN, a magic show without magic.
Critics described the show as "absolutely stunning", with one reviewer raving "The production’s subtlety is a testament to the power of simplicity to have a profound impact on viewers, virtual though they may be... Magic is real." Another reviewer remarked the show was "as enchanting as it is gut-punching and honest", and cited Miss Vega's performance as "captivating... engaging throughout, as her charisma and range of emotions lure you into her spell for the show’s 70-minute running time."
Under the direction of NTI Alum Sophie Sam and starring Ashley Kristeen Vega, OPEN is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
